4 1/2 hours visit to Quito that begins with the parliament building
and continues with a walking tour around the old town that
includes visits to the Independence square, the Cathedral
and the 16th century churches of La Compañia de Jesus and
San Francisco. Thereafter we drive up to Panecillo hill, opportunity
for a panoramic view of Quito (north, center and south). We
will continue with a visit to a museum at the colonial center
( De la ciudad or San Francisco museum) and the Banco Central
museum at Casa de la Cultura.
Finally, we drive around the new residential area and

8 hours visit heading south of Quito through the avenue of
the volcanoes to Saquisilí (Thursday) or Pujilí (Wednesday

TT. 11 PAPALLACTA
SPRINGS TOUR
A
8 hours tour that passes through the valley of Tumbaco
and reaches Papallacta, famous place for its thermal water pools.
We trek for approximately two hours from a private cloud forest
reserve where we admire the beauty of nature; we can watch
several species of flora and fauna, mainly birds. After that trek we head back to the thermal waters and enjoy a delicious
bath taking advantage of the medicinal benefits that this
spring offers. We have lunch at this tourist complex and head
back to your hotel in Quito.
